Bring It On Delivers an Exhilarating Feel-Good Night of Musical Theatre

High-flying, energetic and packed with infectious feel-good moments, Bring It On The Musical is an exhilarating production that proves there’s much more to this story than cheerleading.

The production quickly builds momentum, with the cast delivering boundless energy through slick choreography, powerhouse ensemble numbers and impressive athleticism that rarely lets up. The choreography is undoubtedly the show’s biggest strength, seamlessly blending dance and cheerleading into thrilling production numbers that had the audience erupting with applause.

Emily McDougall is wonderfully cast as Campbell, bringing warmth, charm and an engaging stage presence to the lead role. Her journey from champion cheerleader to finding a new sense of belonging is both believable and heartfelt.

One of the production’s greatest strengths is the evolving friendship between Campbell and Danielle (Alyssa Jandayan). What begins as an unlikely connection grows into a genuine and heartfelt friendship, adding emotional depth to the story and reinforcing the show’s uplifting themes of acceptance, teamwork and finding where you truly belong.

Jenna Mole is a delight as Bridget, delivering many of the show’s funniest moments. Her character undergoes one of the biggest transformations throughout the musical, making Bridget’s journey both rewarding and genuinely endearing. Fergus Rann is a standout as Steven, with impeccable comic timing and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that quickly make him an audience favourite.

The vibrant lighting design enhances the high-energy atmosphere, while the talented ensemble keeps the momentum building with polished vocals and dynamic dance routines.

As the story reaches its uplifting finale, Bring It On The Musical becomes more than just a musical about competition. It’s a celebration of friendship, teamwork, acceptance and finding where you truly belong. The feel-good ending leaves the audience smiling long after the final bow.
