VAMFF 2020 – PLAZA REVEAL & GALA RUNWAY PREVIEW MELBOURNE.

The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival plaza was previewed on Tuesday 10th March for the annual celebration that brings fashion and entertainment together over an exciting ten days. Before thousands of fashion-forward guests are welcomed into The Plaza, Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) Chairman, David Briskin, alongside Acting CEO Yolanda Finch, hosted an exclusive preview of the fashion hub.

The Festival’s open-air fashion party will come alive each evening from 5:30 pm (10 – 14 March) with music, entertainment, food and drink pop-ups and interactive activations.

The Plaza, supported by the City of Melbourne, is free for all to enjoy. It is the place to be snapped by street-style photographers, spot your favourite bloggers, designers, editors, and celebs while soaking up the atmosphere with friends.

Raising the bar once again, this year presents an all-new entrance to the plaza that highlights the grand entrance of the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building and its magnificent surroundings of the Carlton Gardens.

VAMFF also known as Melbourne Fashion Festival is Australia’s largest fashion celebration combining fashion, arts, and creative ideas across the city of Melbourne with the inclusion of those in the industry and open to public shows.

On Tuesday 10th March we take a look at VAMFF’s Plaza precinct showcasing Melbourne’s liveliest fashion party, as well as a first look at the rehearsal of the Gala Runway presented by David Jones, which for the first time will bring its anticipated Collections Launch runway direct to customers at the Festival debuting the department store’s AW20 season collection at the Gala runway featuring key trends and timeless looks from leading Australian and international designers.
