Recently I was invited to attend Melbourne restaurant ‘Society’ as Diplomático Rum Master Nelson Hernandez hosted a world Rum celebration. Guests, we were treated to a luxurious degustation menu that perfectly complemented the delicious blends of Diplomático Rum.
From the first sip of the perfectly crafted cocktails to the last drop of the rich and flavourful rum, every moment was a celebration of the art of rum-making. Hernandez’s expertise shone through as he shared his knowledge and passion for rum with us, making the evening truly unforgettable.
Sydneysiders can choose from the likes of harbourside hotspot Henry Deane or underground oasis Apollonia, while Melbournians can opt for a drink at swanky saloon Magic Mountain or hidden gem Amphora. In Brisbane, locals can enjoy an experimental tipple at Dr Gimlette or heritage hideaway Gresham. And finally, in Perth, participating venues include the beloved dark, moody Foxtrot Unicorn and the heritage rooftop bar at the Mechanic’s Institute.
