The launch event was attended by some of the biggest names in the Australian fashion industry, including Alin Le’ Kal, Richard Nylon, Gwendolynne Burkin and Shiva Singam to name a few, other guests included Tre Dallas, Cr Jamel Hakim, and Grace Khallouf.

The event was a celebration of not just the launch of De Marf, but also of the hard work and dedication that Patrick Cadei has put into creating his Italian luxury label. The collection showcased at the event was a testament to his vision for the brand – luxurious, sophisticated, and with a touch of playfulness.

DE MARF, founded by Patrick Cadei, takes a unique approach to fashion, focusing on the transformative power of art and storytelling. By collaborating with artists from around the world, DE MARF seeks to translate inspirational messages and stories into physical artworks that are then transformed into garments. Each piece tells a unique story, inspiring the wearer to live a life of purpose and make a positive impact on the world. The goal is to simply help the wearer look and feel their aspirational selves. Combining art, storytelling, and fashion, DE MARF is a fresh departure from the fast-paced, trend-focused approach of other luxury brands.

Luhniio Choi is the Creative Director at De Marf with an impressive curricular vitae that includes designing at fashion house Pucci, producing several ready-to-wear collections and bespoke garments for clients such as Beyonce’, Rita Ora and Bella Hadid.

A later stint included design consultancy at Pronovias Group, famed for their high-end and much sought-after wedding garments. His designs have been showcased at the Wella Collection Show in Milan and featured in publications such Vogue, Vogue Italia, DNA Magazine, Grazia, Elle, Forbes, The US Paris and many more.

DE MARF is fully committed to quality and sustainability. All the brand’s pieces are designed and manufactured in Italy, using only the highest quality Italian fabrics and the best manufacturing practices, ensuring the longevity of the garments. The brand takes a strong sustainability stance, using organic cotton and recyclable sources for their nylon. Moreover, the company has gone one step further by becoming GOTS certified, the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. This certification means that the whole supply chain is conducted according to strict standards, both ecological and social, ensuring the protection of workers’ rights, hygienic and safe working conditions, and proper treatment of wastewater. GOTS certification ensures the brand works with factories that are regularly inspected and held to strict social criteria, meaning no forced labour and no child labour.

Speaking at the event, Patrick Cadei expressed his gratitude to everyone who had supported him in his journey to launch De Marf. He also shared his vision for the brand, which is to create clothing that makes people feel confident, empowered, and stylish.

The launch event was a huge success, and it’s clear that De Marf is set to become one of the most sought-after luxury labels in Australia. With its focus on quality, sophistication, and playfulness, De Marf is sure to appeal to fashion lovers who are looking for something unique and special.
