The Summer Trend Edit – Our favourite Celebs and Influencers showcase this Season’s Hottest Looks!

Despite the sometimes questionable Melbourne weather, summer is finally here! Hooray! And with that, comes the hottest contemporary trends for the warmer months. This season has unveiled some seriously vibrant and stylish designs, so pack away your trench and get ready to shop this month’s ‘Must Have Looks.’

Bold Colours & Colour Blocking

Step away from the safety net of neutrals and muted tones, this season is all about vibrant colourways inspired by SS21 Fashion Weeks. Be bold and bright like Lana Wilkinson in an eye-catching hot pink and saffron-red Atoir combination, or Dannii Minogue rocking a stunning, neon yellow piece by Jason Grech.

  • Sequins

Very appropriate for the Summer party scene, glimmering sequin ensembles like this Aron Katona piece are here to stay. The beauty of sequins is that they aren’t just reserved for gowns – think blazers, trousers & high necks too. So go all-out and make an entrance with a glittery statement piece this week. This trend will be seen throughout 2022!

The white shirt

Another piece that can be turned into something brand new, the classic white shirt. The epitome of versatility – style it as oversized outerwear, a co-ordinated set with shorts for the daytime, pop a corset over the top or wear it as a relaxed shirtdress like Melbourne designer Effie Kats. Whichever way you rock it, it has a very off-duty model feel and will be a staple in your wardrobe for seasons to come.

Feathers

The summer trend you never expected that’s causing all the fluff about town. From Feathered dresses to handbags, these are our favourite glamourous feathered looks.

Green

It’s time to be green and get seen, and not just any green will do. These vivid green looks are trending straight into 2022 from apparel to accessories including shoes and bags.

International trends are also presenting a colour palette of citrus lime and lemon. When styling with other colours we recommend working your look with stand-alone shades of Black and White or colour block with a vibrant Blue, Orange, or Bright Pink.
