The Melbourne based designer consistently designs, and describes, each of her collections as trips; and for Summer, SOFIA IRINA’s Creative Director, Sofia Samaras is taking us on a theoretical trip to Cannes through elegant, well-tailored, beautifully fabricated, easy & versatile, feminine fashions.
The collection starts with a fresh take on summer suiting offering the crispness of creams and musk (a blend between pink and lilac) before moving into a must have jean, silk slip dresses, and camisoles, playful linen jumpsuits, and a dreamy skirt and crop blouse ensemble that is perfect for the festive season, whether it be a party or a summery lunch with friends.
The collection has been designed with versatility in mind with garments flowing easily from day to night with just a change of accessories. Standouts include the now available Christelle Blazer which can be paired with a matched pant or short; the enticingly billowing Elysse skirt and top and the use of a signature floral print in some of the offerings which will retail from mid-December.
These optimistic emblems of the collection come from the prints and fresh block colours that speak of wonderful days ahead.
