Alberto Zambelli presents his Spring Summer 2019 Collections Day One at Milan Fashion Week.
“The collection was inspired by Italian neoclassical sculptor Antonito Canova” and celebrates the colour white and all the shades that white can merge into including pale shades of grey and silver to metallic.
The colour white also brings clarity and freshness to the season, without the eagerness to express too much colour; it allows the cut and design of the garment to bring enough power to the piece on its own.
Asymmetrical silhouettes were prominent using lightweight silks, romantic ruffles and oversized puffs. The influences from the 80’s have returned; time to start prepping the wardrobe ladies.
