On Friday evening, a select group of special guests were treated to an exclusive event at Toffee Studios in South Melbourne. The occasion? The launch of the highly anticipated Darren Palmer x Meir collaboration, featuring the stunning Lustre Bronze collection.
The event was attended by Scotty Cam and other personalities from The Block, renowned architects, and individuals with a passion for interior design. The atmosphere was electric as guests mingled and admired the exquisite pieces on display.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the opportunity to chat with Darren Palmer himself. As one of Australia’s leading interior designers, Darren Palmer has a keen eye for style and a knack for creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Guests were eager to hear about the inspiration behind the Lustre Bronze collection and how this exciting partnership with Meir came to be.
Darren says, “this is a brand-new colour with Meir X Darren Palmer, we’ve called it Lustre Bronze and I’m absolutely besotted with it. It’s a lustrous bronze metallic that would work beautifully with walnuts and browns and the trend colours at the moment, it’s been a year in the making and I’m so proud of it.
Darren goes on to say, I have the Tiger Bronze at my own home in Bondi. I also have the Champagne colour at my other home in Bondi, in the kitchen. It’s a fantastic finish on this Meir range that enables Meir to do a lifetime warranty.”
Darren has made his own home based around minimalism with a very neutral palette. It’s very soft, organic, and natural, and that’s why he loves this colour ‘Lustre Bronze’ as it’s organic and natural and sits well within the Australian landscape.
As a brand, Meir has become a household name in over 40 countries with strong ties to luxury-living. The new range stands as a testament to the brand’s dedication to innovation, design and excellence.
