Store owner Ejaz says, “I’m so passionate about my store at The South Melbourne Market in the So: Me Space because I have tried my best to reflect the sophisticated crowd that frequents the market. As the name suggests ‘Lost in Seasons’ reflects Melbourne’s ever-changing weather as we Melbournians know we often get 4 seasons in a day. From summer-ready silk and linen dresses to rain and wool coats for the stormier days, I wanted to take the shop in a direction where it was ready for the flash changes in weather with well-made, edgy, and stylish clothing.
All the labels stocked, are Australian labels or made with natural materials. The shop also stocks Australian-designed crowd favourite, Rollie shoe store. I have introduced silk, linen and viscose dresses from labels that range from our very own ‘Lost in Seasons’ clothing and now have expanded to Australian labels GDS and Cazinc, with many more to come. Our Leather jackets have been designed by me and are proudly made in Australia. Also, we stock staple handbags made from soft and luxurious vegan leather by popular accessory label Fashion Mode, making us a one-stop shop.”
Ejaz also loves designing and stocking labels that specialise in classic, timeless cuts that are chic and easy to accessorise. We have a range of staple ready-to-wear pieces, structured leather jackets and flowy sophisticated dresses perfect for dinner and lunch functions. These are complemented by Rollie shoes that the store has become known for over the years.
All the textiles used are ethically made and are a hundred per cent natural materials including fine silks, linen, cotton, the softest bamboo cotton, and sheep skin as well as vegan leather.
