JO HALL is one of our city’s most recognised News Journalists and shares with us a new and exciting ambassadorship with Australian label Black Pepper.

For many Melburnians, Jo Hall is a familiar face. As one of the city’s most recognised news journalists, she has been providing us with the news for over 44 years.

Jo Hall is a reporter, presenter and newsreader for Channel 9 and has been a part of the Melbourne news scene since she first joined the network in 1979. She has covered some of the biggest stories in Victoria, including the Black Saturday bushfires, the Port Arthur massacre and the 2009 Victorian bushfires.

Her career has been built on her commitment to telling stories from the heart and with meaning. Jo is known for her ability to capture a story’s emotion and bring a human element to it. She is passionate about giving a voice to those who are often forgotten or overlooked in the news, and she has a gift for making her viewers feel like they are a part of the story.

JO HALL has recently taken on a new and exciting role as the first-ever face of the iconic Australian brand, Black Pepper, this is a new and exciting adventure for our Journalistic star.

The new and exciting partnership will see Jo as the face of several campaigns and host various events and styling sessions with consumers.

“I am thrilled to push myself out of my comfort zone,” says Jo Hall.

“For many years, I was told what to wear,” says Hall. “I’m now at a point in my career where I have the ability and freedom to choose what I want to do and align with brands and causes close to my heart, like Black Pepper”.

Black Pepper, established in 1976 and with 88 stores across Australia and New Zealand, supports several charity alignments, including World Kindness Day and Ovarian Cancer Australia (having raised over $670,000 over the last few years).

Jo Hall says, “I am proud to work with a brand that supports diversity, inclusivity and generosity amongst Australians”.

The sentiment is echoed by the brand itself with Black Pepper GM, Rachel Digby.

“We are excited to partner with Jo Hall as we continue to grow the Black Pepper brand”.

“We see this as the perfect partnership. Combining two equally iconic brands that share synergies of being trustworthy, high-quality and Australian in origin” says Digby.

“I am excited to have the opportunity for Australians to get to know the real me. The real Jo” says, Hall.

Her impact on our lives has been profound, and she has been an inspiration to many aspiring journalists. She is a role model for the next generation of news reporters and has been a part of our lives for over four decades.

Jo Hall is an example of the power of journalism to inform, educate and inspire. Her commitment to telling stories from the heart and with meaning has been a source of comfort and hope for many of us during difficult times. She is a true champion of the news, and we are lucky to have her in our lives.
