The Melbourne Fashion Festival presented the UTOPIA RUNWAY Monday evening with special guests Rebecca Judd and business partner Michelle Greene, Kate Connick, the daughter of Harry Connick Jr., Designer and stylist Lana Wilkinson, and Master Chef fan favourite the ever-stylish Khanh Ong.
The Utopia runway presented a showcased variety of looks from designers Aje, Nevenka, Acler, Van Der Kooj, Ginger & Smart, Leo Lin and Maara Collective. Bold modern silhouettes in bright colours and prints were feminine and sophisticated.
Aje featured beautiful shades of lilac and mauve, flirty floral dresses and crisp white structured suiting was timeless and elegant.
Ginger & Smart were bold and vibrant, with both relaxed and structured suiting seen in a fiery red and soft powder blue.
Leo Lin designs presented an ethereal and romantic aesthetic. Intricate details with ruffles created a dreamy and feminine look.
Maara Collective presented classic black and white designs, with fringing being a detailed feature of this latest collection.
Acler were bold in two-piece ensembles with flirty and fun mid-riff exposure.
Van Der Kooj made a statement with bright citrus mini dresses with puffed sleeve details bringing extra depth and detail.
The audience was mesmerised by the beautiful silhouettes, intricate detailing, and luxurious fabrics. Models confidently strode down the runway presenting the perfect combination of sophistication and playfulness.
