The 62nd TV Week Logie Awards was a star-studded red carpet extravaganza showcasing Fashion at its best and some that were obviously not so good. Still, fashion is a form of expression and as long as it makes you feel good then I say wear what you like.
Exquisite, dreamy Pinks were seen on Simone Holtznagel and Anna Heinrich. The couture gowns offered elegance with hand-sewn embellishments and classic silhouettes that brought the old Hollywood vibes.
Some were unique and ultimately sought our attention with April Rose Pengilly my favourite on the night. The bodice featured glittering accents with a faux feathered train bringing Avant-Garde style.
Plunging necklines, thigh-high splits, cutouts, and sheer dresses left little to the imagination with former Miss Universe Australia Maria Thattil making sure she will be remembered for her risqué and jaw-dropping gown. Maria’s sheer show of skin was done right and was a cleverly crafted nude illusion without revealing any of her skin underneath at all.
Jessica Mauboy, Jasmine Stefanovic, and Natalie Bassingthwaighte wore flamboyant ensembles that were bold, splashy, and innovative but perhaps under-delivered on style and sophistication for Australia’s biggest television industry event, but I’ll let you be the judge.
White was also a popular choice for many of the stars, its simplicity is untainted and is always refreshing and flawless.
