The Met Gala is the global Fashion themed haute couture fundraiser that presents red carpet celebrity arrivals like no other event does and is held annually at The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art. This year’s theme was “Gilded Glamour,” a concept that leaves plenty of room for interpretation and draws inspiration from New York’s Gilded age, paying homage to the period of prosperity, industrialisation, and growth in the US from 1870 to 1890.
