Tennis, fashion, and champagne, need I say more? Piper-Heidsieck has marked its fourth year as the Official Champagne of the Australian Open and bringing with it, a stunning Parisian-themed Champagne Bar at the Rod Laver Arena Terrace. Giving us Melbournians a taste of ‘Emily in Paris’, the space was designed by Creative Director and Artist Christian Wagstaff, together with an exotic flora installation by florist Katie Marx. Tennis fans can relax and enjoy a glass of Essentiel Champagne while cheering on their favourite players.
The Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar will also host some of Melbourne’s best-emerging musicians, singers, performances, dancers, and artists for those stopping in for little champagne indulgence during the tournament.
This year’s Piper-Heidsieck Ambassadors Olympia Valance and Maria Thattil both opted to go with the brand’s theme colour for their elegant looks. Actress Olympia dazzled in a pale pink halter top tucked into a dramatic red skirt with an oversized bow feature. While Maria, ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ contestant, hot out of the jungle, wore a gorgeous Cappellazzo Couture piece styled with a feminine up-do by Joey Scandizzo Salon.

Fellow jungle contestant and actor Tottie Goldsmith smiling and taking in the tournament buzz, wore a floral boho style jumpsuit. Tottie sat courtside, while Nick Kyrgios and Daniil Medvedev battled it out during an almost 3-hour match, with Daniil (World Number 2) coming out victorious with a 7-6 (1) knocking Kyrgios out of the semi-finals.

Also spotted enjoying the courtside action was Melbourne-based Stylist to the stars – Lana Wilkinson. Wilkinson opted for an edgy, pink, and red color-block look, completing the outfit with her own brand of minimalist pink heels. The perfect heel height for a long day at the tennis, shop Lana’s style here.
Australian Designer Effie Kats was wearing a chic, tennis-appropriate linen pant & vest set. The cropped all-white ensemble was also designed by her own label, Effie Kats Official.
