FASHION365 is an exciting new sales channel for fashion brands. A virtual marketplace to keep fashion brands and key independent fashion and lifestyle buyers connected.

In these unpredictable times, the traditional in person exhibitions like Fashion Exposed have been put on hold since 2020 and now into 2021. With online buying of fashion increasing exponentially, the move to wholesale of fashion has also now gone online.

Marie Kinsella, the founding organiser of the highly reputable Fashion Exposed, has diversified her approach to doing business.

“Due to COVID 19, no face-to-face trade fairs, including Fashion Exposed can be held this season, where retailers traditionally do their seasonal buying and update their stock for their bricks and mortar and on-line stores. We have had to approach things differently this year”, Kinsella explains.

“FASHION365 has been created as an E-channel to create B2B relationships, between our wholesalers and designers and retailers, so they can still connect and continue to not only survive, but thrive, in these difficult times.”, Marie says.

The platform is to be launched on Valentine’s Day 14 February 2021, for a three-day key activity period, with buyers from across Australia and New Zealand able to visit fashion brands virtual showrooms.  They view products and can virtually meet to discuss in more detail regarding buying and placing orders. The online event will stay open for an additional eight weeks after this three-day key period, for follow up and revisits.

Brands design their own showrooms with their logos and their own look and feel and can be open to all or can be exclusive access only.

It is an ideal opportunity for fashion brands and key buyers to get in front of each other, virtually, all in the one place, over a focused period to get all the buying and selling done from the comfort of your own space in front of your computer.

With travel restrictions still arising, this safe and more cost-effective way of doing business has been created by the team that has brought you the major business to business trade fair, Fashion Exposed for over twenty years.

Buyers and sellers alike are embracing this platform with more than 50 established and emerging fashion brands jumping on board early.

With IEC’s vast network of fashion and lifestyle retailers all looking for the one stop, easy access online opportunity, Marie Kinsella has created this virtual marketplace to keep the fashion and lifestyle economy moving.

Included in the online event is Learn365, which is FASHON365’s Speaker Program. The audience of independent retailers in Australia and New Zealand can experience this free of charge.

The topics to highlight are:

Sustainability – Learn more of what your customers want to know in COVID normal

Integrating Bricks and Mortar and online- maximising your retail sales

Ethical Sourcing – Exactly what this means and how you do it

How to thrive in an ever-changing retail environment

FASHION365 will be a high traffic opportunity for fashion brands to generate business, clear stock and showcase their upcoming season collections to a highly targeted retailer audience.
