BOSOZOKU HQ – Super Happy Fun Time Thursday Launch!

Located just behind Chapel Street in Melbourne, lies a cool Japanese Biker Gang inspired bar. This bar is definitely a hidden gem and can be a little overwhelming with all it has to offer.

I hit the ground running starting off with one of their deliciously refreshing ‘Bubble Cups’ that has black current pearls on the bottom of the cup that are sucked up with a large straw and burst into your mouth after each sip, mixed with vanilla infused French Vodka, De Kuyper Blue and Calpico you won’t be able to stop at one.

The bar offers Japanese Beers, Whiskeys, Wasabi Bloody Mary’s and don’t forget this place is also a Sake Den.

The restaurant is owned by Craig Kellerman, Dan Hansen and brother’s Stephan and Michael Mauer.

Head Chef Tomoya Kawasaki has put together a Japanese menu that is next level including, Gyoza, Chicken Karage, Spicy Salted Edamame, Boso Fries with Seaweed Salt and this is just for starters, also perfect for sharing.

Next up it’s their Japanese inspired burgers with a twist, Pumpkin, Black Charcoal, Beetroot and Green Tea buns are served with your choice of freshly Marinated Swordfish, Marinated Chicken, Pork Loin, Lobster Tail and sliced Wagyu Beef and not to be missed is the ‘Rabbit Food’ burger for the vegetarians.

The atmosphere is nothing short of electrifying including a warm fire pit, perfect for those cold chilly nights, dry ice spa which makes it look like you’re emerged in a deep spa tub and literally steaming up!

The private gaming rooms are also to be enjoyed including Mario Kart, Pool and Karaoke.

If you’re up for something totally fabulous, weird and wonderful with drinks and food to die for then it’s a must.
