Cambridge Clothing Limited featuring signature labels, Cambridge, Gibson and Joe Black launched their Spring Summer collections at the fabulous ‘Collins Quarter’, at the well known top end of Collins Street precinct in Melbourne on Thursday July 13th.
Brand Ambassadors Clint Stanaway and Josh Dunkley were among the distinguished guests as well as Melbourne Celebrities Brynne Edelsten, Nick Furphy and Jono Pitman from the reality tv show, ‘Married at First Sight’! Well-known designers, stylists, bloggers and clients were also among those celebrating the Cambridge Clothing SS17 launch and 150 years in men’s fashion.
‘Collins Quarter’, treated the guests to cocktails and fabulous appetisers as they celebrated and perused the new collections from Cambridge, Gibson and Joe Black. Scotch whisky brand ‘Pure Scot’ was also showcased and guests could enjoy the taste of this signature blend, with models on hand to look after us all.
Joe Back: The Great Escape
Joe takes the road less travelled with a new collection of reinvented classics. Cruising into summer with effortless ease, lightweight Italian fabrics and a modern fit offer the ultimate in tailored freedom. The History: Cambridge Clothing Ltd
Cambridge Clothing was established in New Zealand in 1844 and were the pioneers of menswear in wholesale and manufacturing. Originally belonging to the Scots-Irish Macky family the company struggled during the great depression and the Macky and Goodfellow families took over shortly after its collapse. They took Cambridge in a new direction distributing the menswear brand through independent stores across the country and by the 1960’s were the leaders in menswear. In the 1970’s Cambridge Clothing was established in Australia and is approaching 150 years as a leader in menswear. In such a competitive fashion world this says a lot about the brand and its reputation on priding themselves on quality and craftsmanship.
Ramzy Nawzar:
Celebrity Stylist and Public Relations manager Ramzy Nawzar was responsible for such a successful launch and celebrated having Cambridge, Joe Black and Gibson’s success over 150 years in fashion whilst also launching the SS17 collection.
