Pop the Cork! Olympic Gold Medallist Noemie Fox Unveils the New Piper Heidsieck Champagne Bar at Australian Open!
In a sparkling celebration that perfectly blended glamour and sport, Olympic gold medallist Noemie Fox officially opened the newly designed Piper Heidsieck Champagne Bar just outside the Rod Laver Arena!
With the effervescence of champagne bubbling in the air, Fox raised her glass and exclaimed “Merci!” in her delightful French accent, a toast that resonated with the excitement of the beginning of the Australian Open. Joining her in this momentous occasion were Piper Heidsieck CEO Damien Lafaurie and Tennis Australia CEO Cedric Cornelis, both of whom were equally thrilled to witness the launch of this iconic bar that promises to enhance the Australian Open experience for all attendees.
Monday the A-list celebrities began to arrive on opening day of the Australian Open. Among the star-studded crowd were fashion icons and sporting legends alike, including the ever-stylish Stella Klim, the glamorous Nadia Bartel, and her partner Peter Dugmore. The dynamic duo of Bec and Chris Judd graced the event, alongside model Demi Brereton and renowned celebrity stylist and designer Lana Wilkinson, who made a fashionable statement with her husband Liam by her side.
Just last Friday, I had the pleasure of catching up with Lana Wilkinson at the Marriott Bonvoy Marquee, where she indulged in a pampering session as prelude to the grand opening. With her impeccable sense of style, I couldn’t resist asking her the key question: how does one dress for the tennis? With a beaming smile, Lana confidently declared, “Accessories make the outfit.” Her advice was crystal clear: the right footwear, a stylish hat, and a spacious bag for sunscreen are essential components for a day at the tennis.
Lana went on to say, “I’m excited to be here at the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge, it’s a great place to enjoy amazing hospitality, while also enjoying an incredible massage.
When it comes to accessories you don’t have to rush out and buy anything new. Tennis chic is the cliché of the whites, polo’s, stripes, anything nautical. Look for inspiration from Zendaya’s ‘Challengers’ movie. We are really in a tennis chic mode now, anyway. With my shoe brand Lana Wilkinson, we have wedges, flats and sandals that can take you from day to night.”
