Nude Lucy Unveils Innovative Store Concepts in Armadale and Chadstone
In an exciting leap forward for the iconic Australian fashion label Nude Lucy, the brand has unveiled fresh and innovative concepts for their flagship stores in Armadale and Chadstone. Spearheaded by Creative and Brand Director Nilou Zibaee and General Manager Elise Moncur, these new stores redefine the in-store shopping experience while staying true to the brand’s minimalist ethos.
Originally born as a coastal brand known for its effortlessly chic jersey t-shirts and wardrobe essentials, Nude Lucy has evolved into a staple for those who appreciate simplicity and understated elegance. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Helen Vu, the head of marketing for Nude Lucy, who shared insights into the brand’s journey and its vision for the future.
“Nude Lucy started with a focus on basics, but as the concept developed, we realised our mission is to embody simplicity and minimalism; what we like to call ‘nude nothing’,” Vu explained. “We aim to create pieces that complement what’s already in your wardrobe, allowing our customers to express their individuality through effortless style.”
A Breath of Fresh Air
The new store designs reflect this philosophy perfectly. Both locations feature a very natural looking layout, with the space creating a simple, yet, inviting atmosphere. The use of soft, neutral tones enhances the minimalist aesthetic, allowing the clothing to take centre stage. Customers can expect to find thoughtfully curated displays that mirror the brand’s core values, simplicity, quality, and versatility.
Helen Vu says, “we’re about easy pieces, easy to style, easy to wear with an accessible price point.
Embracing Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of Nude Lucy’s ethos, and the new flagship stores reflect this commitment. The brand is actively exploring sustainable practices in their product development.
Vu also said, “the majority of our pieces are sustainable, we do a lot of Linen, Cupro is a big one for us, Cupro is a velvety fabric and is very breathable, we also use a lot of Cotton and are trying out Tencel.”
This forward-thinking approach resonates with customers who are increasingly conscious of their environmental footprint.
