Joe Back: The Great Escape

Joe takes the road less travelled with a new collection of reinvented classics. Cruising into summer with effortless ease, lightweight Italian fabrics and a modern fit offer the ultimate in tailored freedom. Go-anywhere linen and wool blend suits channel the contemporary cool of the 1960s. Sandy textured tones, new hues of blue and bolder woven checks will have you set for Spring Racing and the warmer days ahead. Soft washed shirts are paired with patch pocket blazers, while indigo linen relaxes the dinner suit for a new take on everyday luxury. Joe finishes his tailoring with Liberty of London print ties and pocket squares, bringing a stylish sense of adventure to Spring Summer 17.

Gibson: Fresh Cuts

Never one to follow suit, Gibson’s Summer line-up merges sartorial simplicity with a streetsmart attitude. Our sharkskin suits, vivid blue separates and navy tux define a new urban aesthetic with a clean slim fit. No longer reserved for corporate life, the clever sneaker suit takes tailoring from the office to the street. Dress it down with a leather trainer or up with a slick boot. Linen-wool blends and basket weave textures work back with micro print shirts to make a confident statement day or night. Expressive print ties and pocket squares finish your tailoring with a rebellious twist for Summer’s freshest look.

 The History: Cambridge Clothing Ltd

Cambridge Clothing was established in New Zealand in 1844 and were the pioneers of menswear in wholesale and manufacturing. Originally belonging to the Scots-Irish Macky family the company struggled during the great depression and the Macky and Goodfellow families took over shortly after its collapse. They took Cambridge in a new direction distributing the menswear brand through independent stores across the country and by the 1960’s were the leaders in menswear. In the 1970’s Cambridge Clothing was established in Australia and is approaching 150 years as a leader in menswear. In such a competitive fashion world this says a lot about the brand and its reputation on priding themselves on quality and craftsmanship.
