From Paris Hilton to the Kardashians how Little Green Panda became the Sustainable Brand Celebrities Love!

Little Green Panda Became the Celebrity-Approved Sustainable Straw Brand

From Paris Hilton and Dua Lipa to Novak Djokovic, Robert Irwin, and even the Kardashians, one Australian brand has quietly become an unexpected staple at some of the world’s biggest events. The product? Not a luxury handbag or cult beauty launch, but a sustainable drinking straw.

An Australian Brand Making Global Headlines

Founded with a simple mission to rethink single-use plastics, Little Green Panda has grown from a local Australian business into a globally recognised sustainability brand, proving that even the smallest everyday products can make a lasting impact.

For founder Manon Beauchamp-Tardieu, the brand’s rise has been nothing short of surreal.

“If you’d told me a few years ago that celebrities would be sipping through Little Green Panda straws, I would have laughed,” she says.

While celebrity endorsements often become defining milestones for emerging brands, Manon insists the biggest reward isn’t the famous faces.

“At the end of the day, I get just as excited seeing our straws in a local neighbourhood café as I do in the hands of a celebrity. Knowing Little Green Panda is helping make sustainable choices more accessible, whether that’s at a local café or on the global stage, is something I’m incredibly proud of.”

From Local Cafés to Celebrity Events

That global stage has expanded rapidly.

One standout moment came when Paris Hilton appeared using a Little Green Panda straw. After the brand shared the video online, Hilton saw the post herself—and even followed the company on TikTok.

“It was one of those moments where we just looked at each other and thought, ‘How is this actually happening?’” Manon recalls.

The Coachella Moment That Changed Everything

Another unforgettable milestone arrived at Coachella, where Little Green Panda’s products featured throughout the 818 Outpost.

“Standing there at one of the biggest events in the world, and watching people use a product we’d created back home in Australia was incredibly surreal,” she says. “It made us stop and appreciate just how far Little Green Panda had come.”

The brand has since appeared at fashion events, hospitality venues and high-profile activations across the globe, demonstrating that sustainability no longer belongs on the sidelines—it belongs centre stage.

For Manon, these moments aren’t simply celebrity sightings. They’re evidence of a much broader cultural shift.

“When we first started Little Green Panda, sustainability often felt like an added bonus. Today, it’s becoming an expectation.”

She believes fashion, entertainment and hospitality industries are increasingly embracing environmentally conscious products as part of their identity rather than as an afterthought.

“Celebrities and influencers have an incredible ability to influence consumer behaviour, so when they choose more sustainable products, it helps normalise those choices for everyone else.”

Supporting Fashion and Sustainability

That philosophy is one reason Little Green Panda recently partnered as the major sponsor of Melbourne My Style’s Winter Showcase at Ms Collins, supporting local designers, entrepreneurs, and creatives while reinforcing the connection between fashion and sustainability.

“We want to show that sustainable products can exist in premium spaces,” Manon explains. “Whether it’s a runway event, a venue like Ms Collins or a café, sustainability shouldn’t feel like a compromise. We want to help make it the new standard.”

Although the brand’s resume already includes an impressive list of global names, Manon isn’t calling it success just yet.

“I don’t know if I’d ever say, ‘We’ve made it,’ because I still feel like we’re only just getting started.”

Instead, each partnership reinforces a bigger ambition—to prove an Australian business can compete internationally while remaining committed to innovation and environmental responsibility.

What’s Next for Little Green Panda?

And yes, there’s still a celebrity wish list.

“Taylor Swift would definitely be at the top,” Manon laughs. “We’re big fans in the Little Green Panda office.” Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, whose commitment to sustainability aligns closely with the brand’s values, is another dream ambassador.

While new partnerships and product launches remain under wraps for now, Manon hints that plenty is happening behind the scenes.

For now, however, her focus remains firmly on the bigger picture.

“Every product around us has the potential to be reimagined, and I believe the next generation of products should be designed with the planet in mind from the very beginning.”

It’s a philosophy that extends beyond sustainability. Manon also hopes Little Green Panda’s story inspires other women to pursue ambitious ideas of their own.

“I hope our journey shows other women that they don’t have to wait for permission to build something meaningful. If sharing my story gives even one woman the confidence to back herself, take a chance on an idea or start the business she’s been dreaming about, then that’s something I’ll be incredibly proud of.”

From Melbourne cafés to the Californian desert, Little Green Panda has proven that meaningful innovation doesn’t always arrive in grand gestures. Sometimes, it begins with something as simple as a straw—and a belief that even the smallest changes can create global impact.
