TIMBERLAND AUSTRALIA BRINGS NYC ENERGY TO MELBOURNE
Melbourne’s retail scene just levelled up. Timberland Australia officially celebrated its opening night last Wednesday at its brand-new Melbourne Walk concept store on Bourke Street Mall and it wasn’t just a launch, it was a full-blown NYC takeover.

Marking a bold new era for the global workwear icon, Timberland is stepping confidently into premium lifestyle and streetwear and this store proves it. Think elevated design, culture-led storytelling and a space that feels more like an experience than a shop.

To celebrate, Melbourne Walk transformed into a slice of downtown New York with ‘Butters Deli & Grocer’, a one-night-only street party bringing serious edge to the CBD. Young Franco headlined the night, while NYC-inspired eats from Sunnyside Pizza and Cookie Box delivered the full bodega vibe.

Spilling into laneways and buzzing with music, food and fashion, the night captured Timberland’s raw heritage, reimagined through a distinctly Melbourne lens.
Inside, the 115-square-metre concept store sets a new benchmark. Sleek, immersive, and culture-driven, it blends streetwear, music and modern lifestyle into a space that demands attention.

As Accent Group GM Joel Biggins puts it, this is more than retail, it’s about connection, culture, and community.
THE VERDICT?
“If you’re in the CBD, this is your next stop.“
