Georgia Kelly, partner of three-time premiership player Nick Vlastuin from the Richmond Tigers, is the quintessential girl next door. The couple first crossed paths while surfing in the picturesque seaside town of Torquay, where they now call home. It’s the perfect spot for them to unwind and escape their busy lives, especially during Nick’s off-season from the AFL when they can hit the waves together.
Recently, Georgia found herself making headlines by landing on both the best and worst dressed lists at the Brownlow Medal ceremony. But she takes it all in stride, laughing it off with a light-hearted, “Hey, at least I made both lists!” Her down-to-earth attitude and infectious spirit shine through, making her a beloved figure both on and off the field.
Styled by the talented Ramzy for the Brownlow, Georgia turned heads in a breathtaking ensemble that highlighted her fashion-forward sensibility. This event marked a significant milestone in her journey as she continues to carve out her own identity away from the spotlight of Nick’s athletic career.
In an exciting turn of events, Georgia has been named the ambassador for the 2024 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour, representing Melbourne City Lexus. This role places her at the heart of one of Australia’s most iconic sporting events, further elevating her presence in the public eye.
Irina Schneider at Melbourne Lexus said, “Anticipation is building for this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival with the upcoming 2024 Melbourne City Lexus Cup Cocktail Event on October 30th. Since 2018 Melbourne City Lexus is proud to present the 18-carat gold Lexus Melbourne Cup trophy to Lexus owners and VIP’s, celebrating spring racing fashion, craftsmanship and design, plus raising funds for charities including BCNA and the VRC’s Pin & Win charity.”
“Now in its 22nd year, the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour has travelled over one million kilometres, visiting more than 640 destinations to unite communities and provide the once-in-life-time opportunity to get up-close and experience the magic of the People’s Cup. Pin & Win is the VRC’s flagship annual charity fundraiser and since 1995 has given charities the platform to raise more than $8 million through the sale of Lexus Melbourne Cup souvenir pins, helping to change lives and support the community.”
Georgia’s Derby Day look was styled by Melinda Sullivan, with a custom-made design by Corde Couture, complemented by a stunning headpiece from Felicity Northeast Millinery, clutch by Cadelle leather and earrings by Gucci. Her look was a perfect blend of sophistication and contemporary flair, capturing the spirit of the occasion while showcasing her unique style.
Georgia expressed her gratitude, stating, “I feel so lucky and I’m very grateful that we really do get to enjoy the best of both worlds. We love living down the coast and enjoying the beautiful beaches in a relaxed town, and then also being able to enjoy special occasions and getting dressed up. We are very lucky.”
Melinda Sullivan and Aron Katona will be producing their 6th Melbourne Cup Tour Runway at the Lexus Showroom as part of this event where Nick Vlastuin and Georgia Kelly will attend as guests.
