Melbourne Designer JASON GRECH has once again taken us on a journey that is made of fairytales.
Jason’s imaginative and whimsical designs showcase contemporary fabrics and signature material trends, bringing hope and light to a restorative fashion future. Each piece in the collection is dreamlike, bringing party and celebratory vibes, that remind us of the way Fashion is formidable in the way it makes us look and feel.
The latest collection injects vibrancy with colours of Hot Pink, Purple, Green, and Citrus Yellow.

Jason, please tell us what has inspired this new collection for MFW?
“Glamour. After months of being in lockdown, it was glamour and colour that inspired me to pick up my sketch pencils and design forms and shapes that moved with the body.”
How do you go about choosing new prints and colours for the collection?
“The new print showcased at Melbourne Fashion Week is a repeated stamp of the JG initials, which represents my ‘stamp’ on fashion.
I used multiple shades of one colour to create a print design with depth, in shades of red, green, and purple.”
Jason Grech 2021 simply has made us feel the power of fashion once again, and we congratulate him on this incredible showcase, that has inspired us to get dressed up and celebrate in style the way we once did.
