Chadstone is now home to possibly Australia’s largest all-day signature Coffee house, ‘Industry Beans’. It’s a venue like nothing you’ve ever seen before. If you’re a coffee addict like me then Industry Beans is a must-visit destination.
Brothers Trevor and Steven Simmons originally opened the very first Industry Beans 10 years ago in Fitzroy with the idea to combine in-house coffee roasting with a restaurant under one roof.
When you walk into Industry Beans Chadstone it’s like walking into a coffee laboratory. Spacious and minimal, it’s evident these guys are serious about coffee and they want you to see the process transparently learning everything from the natural processing of Green Coffee to just how the growing location of the coffee affects what your brew tastes like.
Trevor Simmons says, “not many people are aware that coffee is actually a fruit and is grown on a tree and just like grapes the processing and blending is how we get our different flavours.”
Situated at the back of the store you can view the coffee being roasted in-house. Coffee is sourced from 26 different origins including South America, Central America, South East Asia, and Africa. Specialty coffee blends are then crafted in-house creating unique flavours that are exclusive to Industry Beans.
Trevor says, “coffee is my passion, we began growing the business through our wholesale network that included hotels and offices and it took a while to get going. It was slow the first couple of years. We took time to perfect the product. Steve my brother was roasting, and I was out doing deliveries whilst also trying to run a café”.
Operating in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, Trevor, and Steven have won over coffee lovers and everyday brunch-goers alike, becoming internationally recognised for their innovative approaches to coffee roasting and commitment to creating unique hospitality experiences.
Industry Beans Chadstone includes a commercial catering kitchen for you to also enjoy signature dishes including, a curated selection of Share Plates, Mains, and Desserts. Whether you’re after an Avocado Smash or a Seared Red Pepper Beef, they are open 7 days a week.
While Industry Beans educates the coffee masses in-store, we can also become a more conscientious roaster and brewer at home with the ability to subscribe and become a coffee machine renter. Industry Beans can have you renting a machine with a partnership they have secured with De’Longhi from only $27 per week bringing the average cup of coffee down to $1.20 per cup!
Industry Beans can deliver what customers want when it comes to coffee, providing outstanding service, food, and the best drinks, including specialty teas.
