Whimsical Yum Cha at Melbourne’s ‘Sun Kitchen’ in Albert Park.

Our multi-award-winning Executive Chef Chan Kwok is serving up playful dim sums at Sun Kitchen with the vision of bringing an edible wonderland to the Melbourne Chinese dining scene. Having grown up in Hong Kong, Chef Chan revisits his childhood memories of the traditional yum cha experience with freshness of flavours and variety of textures, served in little bamboo baskets, bowls and plates. Indulge in our Truffle Mushroom Dumplings or bite into morsels of fresh prawns carefully wrapped in our Seafood Jade Dumpling. Not to be missed is the Turnip Cake stir-fried with our famous Sun Kitchen Supreme XO sauce.

Taking classic yum cha to a gastronomical experience, you will be delighted by the “Mouse Dumplings” made of glutinous rice flour filled with sweet taro paste. The “Piggy Buns” filled with salted egg lava will also be making its debut with its luscious sweet and salty filling to its adorable appeal, these buns will win the hearts of all diners.
