If you fancy art, the 1980s, and gin almost as much as your loved one, then BOMBAY SAPPHIRE’s Gin Garden at the National Gallery of Victoria’s Friday Nights has your Valentine’s Day date night sorted this February. In celebration of the month of love, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE has created a Gin & Tonic heart-shaped popsicle, which they will be giving away for FREE at their Gin Garden at NGV’s Friday Nights on the 7th and 14th February – but be quick, because there are only 500 popsicles available each night.
The blue Gin & Tonic heart-shaped popsicles, which hero the much-loved BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin, will have you melting for your loved one as you peruse the NGV’s summer blockbuster exhibition, Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines, before you dance the night away together to 1980s tunes. With performances from DJ’s 6am at the Garage and New York’s Natasha Diggs on the 7th February, and Simona Castricum and the UK’s Alex Rita & Errol on Valentine’s Day, along with shows from Melbourne’s leading drag queens, this will be a Valentine’s Day date night to remember.
If your heart’s desire is a cocktail to pair with your popsicle, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE has created an Amore Spritz to celebrate the month of love. Available throughout February at the Gin Garden, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Ambassador Peter Hollands explained, “The Amore Spritz is our tribute to Valentine’s Day. Made with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE and Lillet Rouge, with a hint of lemon juice and finished off with a rose petal, the Amore Spritz is Valentine’s Day served up as a cocktail.”
The BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Gin Garden is the only place to celebrate Valentine’s Day, with art, music and a cocktail in hand. The NGV Friday Nights summer series provides late-night access to the unprecedented, world-exclusive exhibition Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines, presenting works by two of the most significant and influential artists of the late twentieth century. The Gin Garden will be appearing at NGV Friday Nights until Friday 10 April 2020 and tickets can be purchased HERE.
