Carla Zampatti closes Sydney’s MBFWA 2019 with a stellar cast of models walking to the Australian Brandenberg Orchestra. The audience featured some of Australia’s most influential women including our former deputy Prime Minister Julie Bishop who stood out in a stunning silver sequined gown. Kerrianne Kennerley, Ita Buttrose, Angela Bishop, Jules Sebastian and Samantha Jade were also part of the star-studded audience to watch the Matriarch of Australian Fashion close the week.
The Carla Zampatti label is renowned for beautiful clothes that combine Australian creativity with Italian style. The current Carla Zampatti collection is a distinctive response to the modern Australian lifestyle.
The 41 looks shown from the forthcoming collection at MBFWA in Sydney, included Zampatti’s signature black and ivory colour palette in stripes and spots, as well as sequinned animal prints, popping yellows and, in something of a departure, a tiger lily print.
βThe silhouette continues to be long and lean and this season there will be spots, stripes and two-toned designs and then a vibrant floral,” Zampatti said.
