On 25 October, Atlantic Group’s Peninsula C will open its prestigious doors once more Melbourne’s elite at Dressed AU’s Angels with Wings 2018 annual couture runway. The evening wear Queen of Melbourne, Belluccio will be among the designers on the event schedule to showcase their SS/1819 couture collections. Belluccio’s annual collection, usually showcased at The Langham, will be exclusively held at the Angels with Wings 2018 Couture Runway this year.

Australian couture, bridal and accessory designers, De Challie Haute Couture, Couture Studio, Helena Bridal Studio, Stephanie Browne Australia, Black N Bling, Coo Culte Australia will also be a part of the show. The event now in its second year will make its way from the Gold Coast to Melbourne in what will be one of the biggest fashion events of the year.
Held in the theme ‘Sky Forest’, this sci-fi nature theme will have the venue transformed into a futuristic wonderland. Intricate beauty, visual art and couture will be sure to allure guests as each model struts down the runway in each couture collection. Promising diversity and beauty, the models will don exquisite butterfly wings. The atmosphere of the event will have the guests feeling mesmerized as they watch the theatrical runway come to life.
Miss World Australia 2015, Tess Alexander will open the event as the Face of Angels with Wings 2018. And for the first time in Australia, internationally recognized Paralympian World Champion Gold Medalist Kelly Cartwright will model down the runway, covered in a couture body art design by published artist, Tracie Eaton. The designer to dress Tess will be announced at a later day. “Fashion is art,” says Executive Producer Neva Weber. “And beauty comes in many forms. It is both inside and outside, it is in your grace and your triumph over adversity. We want to promote both beauty and diversity in one and we believe Tess and Kelly exemplify this.”

Developed by Executive Producer of Dressed AU, Neva Weber, Angels with Wings is only one of six productions created by the ambitious entrepreneur. She hopes to take the fashion events in Australia to new heights and has her eyes set on an Angels with Wings event in Sydney in 2019 and one in New York in 2021.
Dressed AU is proud partner of Mercy Ships, a global charity that aims to help those in need of aid across the world on one of their many travelling hospital ships. The aid is welcome to people of all walks of life, regardless of age, gender or race. On the night of the runway, there will be silent auctions including a piece created by Tracie Eaton specifically for the event. All auction proceeds will go towards providing funding and aid to Mercy Ships.
Melbourne Housewives, Gina Liano and Lydia Schiavello are expected to be invited to the runway along with 2017 The Voice Finalist, Robin Johnson and Married at First Sight’s, Patrick Miller. Tess Alexander and Kelly Cartwright will be present as ambassadors of the event.
