Piper-Heidsieck Serves Up the Bubbles to Kick Off the Summer of Tennis at Melbourne’s Maison Bâtard.
Last night, the French atmosphere of Maison Batard’s Le Club buzzed with excitement as Piper-Heidsieck officially kicked off the much-anticipated Summer of Tennis! The event brought together celebrities and tennis enthusiasts, all ready to toast to the season ahead.
Among the star-studded guest list was the radiant Olivia Molly Rogers, who recently shared her exciting news of impending motherhood. The evening sparkled with the presence of Olympic Gold Medallist and Piper-Heidsieck ambassador Noemie Fox, along with Australian middle distance runner Peter Bol, Brooke Blurton, Neila Bontempelli, and Fashion Designer Con Ilio. Actor Harvey Almond, known for his role in Bridgerton, and culinary sensation Khanh Ong added to the star power, while AFL champion Zach Merrett and wife Alexandra also enjoyed this celebration with sporting greats .

As the Official French Champagne of the Australian Open, Piper-Heidsieck is celebrating its eighth year of partnership with this iconic event, and what better way to kick things off than with a night of decadence with French delicacies at Maison Bâtard. As the VIP guests sipped champagne a spectacular cabaret-inspired performance, offered a tantalising preview of what’s to come at AO26.
The highlight of the night was a grand uncorking of a three-litre Jeroboam of Piper-Heidsieck’s signature Cuvee Brut by Noemie Fox, Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis, and Rob Hassan from Oatley Fine Wines, Piper-Heidsieck’s exclusive Australian distributor.
