Recently, Melbourne’s ‘The Emerson’ in Prahran, was alive with excitement as Swifties took over for a magical doubleheader event that intertwined sparkle, music, and girl power. The celebration, aptly named ‘Let’s Dance: Swifties Club’ and ‘Swifties Club: After Dark,’ brought together fans of all ages to honour the one and only Taylor Swift with a day and night filled with unforgettable fun, friendship, and her iconic anthems.
Both events were a vibrant family affair bursting with creativity and joy, hosted by the fabulous Dancing With The Stars pro Jessica Raffa and the delightful Genevieve Hegney from Colin From Accounts. Special guest Emily Weir from Home & Away made a surprise appearance. Swifties made friendship bracelets with the talented Sunny Daisy, while glitter tattoos from Majestik Warrior added a touch of sparkle to everyone’s day.
As if that wasn’t enough, guests had the opportunity to learn some of Taylor’s most beloved dance routines directly from Jess herself. The atmosphere was further elevated by sweet treats from Sugar HQ and tantalising Taylor-themed cocktails and mocktails, all while Natalie James of Burning Red: The Ultimate Australian Taylor Swift Tribute Show delivered a dazzling live performance that kept the energy soaring.
With DJs Emerald Jones and WSTN spinning Taylor hits alongside classic party anthems, the dance floor was alive with joy. Boothalicious added a unique twist with their “Pick Your Era” trading card photo booth, capturing memories that would last a lifetime.
These parties weren’t just about the music — they radiated girl power energy 💖. Guests united to support Share The Dignity and their noble mission to end period poverty, proving once again that the Swiftie community is unstoppable when it comes to celebrating and giving back.
