Footloose the Musical Dances into Melbourne with a Unique VIP Experience!
Get ready to cut loose, Melbourne! Footloose the Musical is currently lighting up the stage in the city, and it’s not just the electrifying performances that have everyone talking. In a delightful twist, Fuller PR has brought a fresh flair to the premiere with their exclusive VIP Supper Series, held in collaboration with Melbourne’s beloved dining institutions, Magic Mountain Saloon and Cookie.

As guests gathered including myself for an evening of fabulous food, mouth-watering cocktails, and a sprinkle of magic. Among the attendees was Neighbours star Farah Mak, who shared a heart-warming memory:
“Almost a decade ago, I met the love of my life on top of a mountain… a Magic Mountain, to be exact. Amidst fabulous food, divine cocktails, top-shelf whisky, and Bollinger champagne chasers, something truly magical stirred… connection. I’ll forever be grateful to Magic Mountain Saloon for the night our stars aligned, our souls recognised one another, and the first page of our happily ever after love story was written.”
As the dinner ended, the excitement built for the blockbuster performance that followed. My girlfriends and I were swept away by the infectious energy of the cast as we sang along to iconic hits like “Holding Out For A Hero,” “Let’s Hear It For The Boy,” and, of course, the title song “Footloose.”
Leading the charge with an impressive performance is Jarrod Moore as Ren McCormick, the spirited outsider who dares to inspire the conservative town of Bomont to rediscover their rhythm. His energy is matched by the talented Jordan Twigg, who shines as Ariel Moore, the preacher’s daughter caught in a dance between rebellion and responsibility.

Stage favourite Stephen Mahy delivers a powerful portrayal of Reverend Shaw Moore, while Sophie Weiss captivates as his wise and understanding wife, Vi. The comedic charm of Maverick Newman as Willard Hewitt adds a delightful touch, and Justin Gray’s hot-headed Chuck Cranston brings the right amount of tension to the stage.

With superb vocals and dance moves that leave the audience in awe, the entire cast embodies the essence of the show, freedom, joy, and the exhilarating power of music and dance. Footloose is not just a musical; it’s an unforgettable celebration of life, friendship, and, most importantly, the courage to stand up and dance.
So, grab your friends and don’t miss out on this spectacular production that’s got Melbourne buzzing with excitement. Whether you’re reliving old memories or creating new ones, Footloose the Musical is the perfect night out!
