Dannii Minogue Leads The Langham Melbourne’s Ultimate Afternoon Tea Book Launch.

As Brodie Harper, hotel ambassador for The Langham Melbourne, arrived alongside Langham Luminary Dannii Minogue and MasterChef alumni Sarah Todd, The Langham Melbourne set the stage for an afternoon of refined indulgence celebrating the launch of its highly anticipated Afternoon Tea Book.

Guests were welcomed into the Aria Lounge by Andre Jacques, where a light-filled setting reflected the hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea experience, blending heritage with modern sophistication in honour of one of Melbourne’s most iconic experiences.

Marking a defining moment for luxury dining in Melbourne, the Afternoon Tea Book offers an intimate glimpse into the recipes behind The Langham’s most beloved creations. From delicate pastries to refined savouries, each element reinforces why The Langham remains the ultimate destination for afternoon tea at their hotels around the world.

Throughout the afternoon, guests indulged in a multi-sensory culinary experience where presentation met precision. Champagne flowed as conversations lingered, reinforcing The Langham’s reputation for delivering one of the best high tea experiences in Melbourne.

Fashion designer Lisa Barron joined the celebration, as guests sampled exquisite delicacies by Executive Chef Markus Bohm and his pastry team. Each creation elevated tradition into a modern luxury experience, though the timeless debate remained: jam and cream or cream and jam. Personally, I’m a Jam then cream girl!

Effortlessly embodying The Langham Melbourne’s sophistication, Dannii Minogue and Brodie Harper brought warmth as ambassadors, while Sarah Todd’s culinary presence added further prestige to the occasion. Dannii said, “she loves the classic cucumber on white bread sandwich and cannot wait to get into the kitchen in her signature Langham apron and bake the scones.”

The Afternoon Tea Book is now available from The Langham Melbourne gift shop, offering not only the recipes behind its most iconic high tea creations but also the story of this celebrated hotel, allowing guests to recreate a luxury afternoon tea experience at home.

More than a launch, this was a celebration of Melbourne’s luxury lifestyle, fine dining culture and the enduring appeal of afternoon tea, where indulgence, tradition, and innovation meet.
