‘Langham Loves Lisa’ — a glamorous evening celebrating Australian designer Lisa Barron and her latest Autumn Winter 2026 collection.

Melbourne’s fashion elite turned out in style at The Langham for ‘Langham Loves Lisa’ — a glamorous evening celebrating Australian designer Lisa Barron and her latest Autumn Winter 2026 collection.

Held in the elegant Alto Room, the evening brought together media, fashion insiders and stylish guests for a night of champagne, couture, and conversation. The event was hosted by The Langham’s André Jacques, with television personality and hotel ambassador Brodie Harper guiding the evening as emcee.

Among those in attendance were Kate Ceberano, Jo Hall, Caroline Ralphsmith of the Melbourne Fashion Festival, Jackie Epstein from the Herald Sun, and Valentina Jovanoska, all joining Melbourne’s fashion community to celebrate Barron’s newest designs.

Guests were welcomed with flowing Pommery Champagne before enjoying a decadent three-course menu curated by The Langham’s renowned culinary team. The evening concluded with a delightful strawberry shortcake dessert, adding a sweet finale to an already glamorous affair.

Lisa Barron welcomed everyone and said, “I want to say this is my favourite night, however beautiful Ralph is sitting across from me. Ralph the CEO of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival and I have to say that is also my favourite night too.

The highlight of the night was a runway presentation of Lisa Barron’s Autumn/Winter collection, which showcased the designer’s signature sophistication and refined tailoring. The collection featured impeccably cut suiting, including a striking Ferrari-red two-piece suit that made a bold statement on the runway.

Lisa went on to speak of her friend Layne Beachley recently walking the runway at the Melbourne Fashion Festival.

“How does a world-famous surfer in board shorts and bikini’s become friends with a fashion designer.

Well, we met at Laura Anderson’s women of influence event, and we just clicked. The thing is, it takes effort to stay in touch, and we did, we’ve now have been friends for 15 years.

So, I asked her to be in the runway for PMFF and at first, she said, “I can’t do that!” Kirk Pengilly her partner from INXS said, “I’ll do it” and I said, no Kirk, this is for women over 50. It was so special that Layne did this for me.”

Barron’s evening wear delivered effortless glamour, with opulent silhouettes, delicate embellishments and luxurious fabrications that captured both strength and femininity. The collection reflected Barron’s enduring ability to design pieces that feel modern, elegant, and unmistakably feminine.

As the final looks were presented, guests lingered over champagne and conversation, celebrating a designer whose work continues to hold a special place in Melbourne’s fashion landscape. Once again, Langham Loves Lisa proved why it remains a highlight of the city’s fashion calendar.
