The Melbourne Cup Carnival reached new heights of glamour and excitement as the Bird Cage welcomed Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio for Derby Day. As an Exclusive Guest of LANDMARK by Lexus, Ambrosio experienced the epitome of luxury and hospitality that Lexus is renowned for.
Alessandra tells me, “today I’m dressed by Paris Georgia, and my hat is by Stephanie Spencer.”
Reflecting on her time at the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Ambrosio exclaimed, “I loved spending my first time here with Lexus Australia. The attention to detail and the level of service is truly remarkable at Lexus.”
Hollywood actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, Count Nikolai of Monzepat were among the distinguished guests, adding a touch of international star power to the event.
Other notable guests were AFL legend Lance Franklin and his model wife Jesinta Franklin, who made quite the entrance. Lance, known for his incredible football career, and Jesinta, a successful model and entrepreneur, turned heads with their impeccable style and grace in the Penfolds Marquee. Joining them were models Erin Holland, Joel and Brit Selwood and stylist Donny Galella.
Jessica Gomes, the official ambassador for G.H Mumm, added a touch of unusual glamour to the official Derby Day extravaganza as she popped the Champagne out the front of the Marquee entrance, much to the delight of the guests. However, it was her outfit that stole the show. Designed by Jordan Dalah, her ensemble featured a meringue skirt at the bottom of her very overwhelming dress, adding a unique and fashionable touch to her overall look. As Jess effortlessly rocked this show-stopping outfit, it was the talk of the day.
Model Tess Shanahan, known for her striking beauty and successful modelling career represented Schweppes alongside AFL star Mason Cox.
