New Balance is teaming up with KICRUN to get Aussies moving together.
Their 8-week Challenge aims to motivate personal growth and the power of community to help people get started on their running journey.
KIC Co-founder Steph Claire Smith said their community will be cheering on participants every step of the way.
“Trust me, you can run!”
“Whether you’re looking to run your first 5km, pushing your boundaries to 10km, or training for a half-marathon, we’re here to help build your confidence and prove to yourself just how capable you are.”
The KICRUN program is all about building fitness to meet your own personal running goals.
You can choose between three programs, (0-5kms, 5-10kms, and 21kms) developed by physios to meet your goals.
Each program features three audio-guided runs per week.
New Balance is helping participants go the distance with their new Fresh Foam X 1080v13 shoe range.
The new shoe range is designed to support runners at every level, over any distance.
KIC CEO and Co-Founder, Laura Henshaw is excited about the partnership with New Balance.
“We’re so excited to partner with New Balance to bring people together and break down the mental barriers that hold people back from running.”
“From beginners to ‘fun runners’ and aspiring half marathon runners – no matter what
experience you have KICRUN supported by New Balance will help you get there.”
The programs can be found on the KICRUN app which plans your workouts, gives encouragement, and tracks your pace, time, and distance.
The app also includes over 1000 workouts, 800 recipes, and 100 meditations.
“Our mission is simple, raise awareness on the incredible benefits of running and help Aussies realise if you’re fortunate enough to run, you can be a runner,” said Henshaw.
KICRUN is aiming to launch a sustainable fitness journey that requires no measurements, weigh-ins, or transformation photos.
