Petstock Fashion Week

Afterpay Australian Fashion Week (AAFW) didn’t just serve the two-legged crowd, with Petstock launching its debut designer collection.
This paw-fect collection with Romance Was Born, THE UPSIDE, and Double Rainbouu features pet outfits and accessories with matching human pieces. Those wearing the collection with their pups will have the most envied attire at the dog park.
Dogs strutted the runway for the first time to debut the collection at AAFW, with their coats and accessories featuring each designer’s signature style and prints.
The collection is available in a range of styles and will be exclusively sold in selected Petstock stores and the Petstock website. THE UPSIDE, Romance Was Born and Double Rainbouu also have human pieces in matching prints available to purchase.
Head of Private Label at Petstock, Rebecca Ryles is very excited to launch the collaboration with these three Australian fashion brands.
“As an Australian-owned brand, Petstock is thrilled to be partnering with other home-grown brands and three of Australia’s most inspiring and fashion-forward labels, Romance Was Born, THE UPSIDE, and Double Rainbouu,” she said.
Each brand has brought signature designs to our new pet pieces, giving pet owners and their beloved dogs a fun, unique, and creative way to express their style while staying on trend.”
Petstock is using the collaboration to help raise money for the Petspiration Foundation. The registered charity organisation helps raise funds for both animals and owners to help give back to the community.
“At Petstock, everything we do ties into giving back, 20% of all sales from the designer collection will help pets and people in need, with proceeds being donated to the Petspiration Foundation,” said Ryles.
The charity has supported many causes for both people and animals such as National Pet Adoption Month, The Christmas Project, and Hometown Heroes.
THE UPSIDE is known for quality athleisure pieces that emphasize fashion and function. This makes the brand ideal for creating matching human pieces for every pet lover.
Head Designer at THE UPSIDE, Ashlea Holdsworth is excited to be part of this AAFW first.
“Animals and our four-legged family members play a vital role in our well-being and in staying active, so it made sense to partner with Petstock on an Australian Fashion Week first,” she said.
“We believe in partnering with brands that extend on our mission of empowering people to be well and feel gorgeous in their pursuit of a joyful and healthy life.”
Romance Was Born is all about breathtaking statement fashion pieces which feature amazing prints, hand embroidery, intricate beading, or detailed sequinned elements. Petstock is in good company with the brand previously partnering with Ken Done, Disney, Marvel, The Sydney Dance Company, and many more.
The final brand taking their eye to pet fashion is Double Rainbouu. This brand puts its twist on the classic Hawaiian shirt by featuring the iconic Australian seaside culture in its designs. All their textile prints are created in-house and are perfect for a matching vacation with your pup.
