The 2019 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival exclusive preview precinct tour this year channels a vibrant fixture of New York City and brilliantly captures us with its modern style New York City transformed marquees that are accompanied with distinct and exquisite dining experiences.
The Caulfield Cup Carnival this year is expecting a crowd well over 60,000 that will experience the show stopping racing, entertainment and of course the much-loved fashion.
Stella Artois is in its second year as the major sponsor for the Caulfield Cup Carnival with Ladbrokes kicking of the carnival on Saturday 12th October with ‘Guineas Day’, then follows ‘Blue Sapphire Stakes Day’ on Wednesday 16th October and culminating with one of the biggest days of the carnival ‘Stella Artois Caulfield Cup’ on Saturday 19th October.
Off track the David Jones Stable will present fashion runways and an opportunity to have makeup freshened up whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles. World class chef Shannon Bennett has sourced the finest food and surprise performances are to take place at the Carlton Draught Block Party.
The Caulfield Cup Carnival is a world-class event that is always spectacular and the ‘Caulfield Cup’ is known as the world’s richest turf handicap over 2400 metres. As Melbourne Racing Club presents these prestigious racing events the question of; what to wear, always presents itself. With this question in mind, remember to adhere to spring racing etiquette, no mid-riff bearing for the ladies and relax the fake tan.
Ladies look for feminine and elegant pieces and remember to incorporate headwear, this year jewelled headbands are super popular. Gentleman a suit is a must and please leave the sneakers at the door.
