 Melbourne Fashion Week – Opening night

Melbourne Fashion Week kicked off on Friday September 8^th in Melbourne’s Little Bourke Street, presented by Vogue Australia and American Express with an open air runway and exclusive shopping offers and promotions including beauty bars, champagne and whisky tastings, DJ sets and exclusive in store experiences.

Distinguished guests, celebrities, fashion bloggers and the general public were welcomed by Vogue Australia’s Editor in Chief Edwina Mc Cann, Deputy Lord Mayor Arron Wood, and face of Melbourne Fashion Week, Stefania Ferrario.

Melbourne My Style had the pleasure of attending most of the events with Freelance photographer Jay Saya capturing the latest in Australia’s most talented and influential designer’s on the runway at Melbourne Town Hall.

Runway models were styled by Kevin Murphy hairstylist and makeup by Mecca.
