This Oaks Day we pay homage to Melbourne Stylist Lana Wilkinson

Oaks Day also known as ‘ladies day’, presented with a wet and windy start at the Flemington track, however as the women of Melbourne descended to the track with much excitement, it was as if the clouds had lifted, as they shone like bright rays of sunshine for the prestigious event that was the ‘Kennedy Oaks’.

This Spring Racing Lana has dressed many well-known stars including, Anna Heinrich, Brit Davis, Georgia Love, Jessie Murphy, Michelle Battersby and Rachael Finch to name a few. Lana has one simple rule she lives by when styling the stars and that is to always make them feel like the best version of themselves.

As part of Ladies Day and celebrating all women we would like to congratulate Lana Wilkinson for cementing herself as Melbourne’s finest female stylist. Fashion as we know it is very experimental and personal and sometimes stylists must work around the rules with race day etiquette and attire, even though it has been etched into our minds of the way it should be presented.

At the end of the day Fashion has to make you feel wonderful and elated, this year we congratulate all our ladies for being the best versions of themselves.
