Olivia is currently battling her 3rd cancer diagnosis over 3 decades, but instead of letting it defeat her and take over her life she shows her supporters a fighting spirit and inspires all who face cancer and all those battling chronic illness with such positivity and diversity combining both prescription medicine with the use of medicinal cannabis.

Newton – John’s husband John Easterling the founder and chairman of ‘Amazon Herb Company’ was first introduced to the use of medicinal plants by the indigenous people of Peru. Herbalist John Easterling cultivates cannabis on his and Olivia’s Californian ranch where its use has been legalised.

Olivia and John are continuing to fight to have medicinal cannabis more readily available to those battling Cancer and Chronic Illness in Australia with Olivia having said, “it’s not a cure for all, but has many benefits in relieving the symptoms of chronic pain and suffering”.

Today Show’s Australian entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins took to the main stage with Olivia and her daughter Chloe Lattanzi, and said, “Olivia I know you’re going to get out there and see a whole lot of people”.

As Olivia took to the stage and spoke, she told the crowd “this year we’re here and this is my dream”! She was then joined on stage by Health Minister Greg Hunt who thanked the audience for supporting Olivia and said, “Give yourselves a big hand, and I’m delighted to announce that the Australian Government will support all of you and cancer patients with  $3million dollars for trails of Medicinal Cannabis, have a great day and a great walk”.
