M/FW Robyn Lawley Stuns on the runway in Melbourne

Australian model Robyn Lawley is one of this year’s most iconic figures at Melbourne Fashion Week. Robyn’s career has never stopped evolving and first came to light in 2006 when she shot her very first magazine cover for Dolly.

Born in Girraween, New South Wales, Robyn has forged a formidable path working as both a straight and plus size model. When Lawley signed to Bella Management, she became Australia’s most celebrated curve model of all time.

Lawley Stands tall at a height of 188cm and became the first plus size model to shoot for Ralph Lauren. In 2011 she featured on the cover of Vogue Italia and in 2015 she graced Sports Illustrated magazine.

Robyn has never been comfortable with the term ‘plus size’ and hopes the term will eventually outwear its use and I have to say I couldn’t agree more.

This year Robyn captivated my attention at Melbourne’s iconic town hall from the moment she hit the runway. Beautiful, extremely tall with a walk that is effortlessly chic and a composure to captivate not only her but the designs that flow so effortlessly.
