VAMFF presents David Jones AW19

Day two of VAMFF 2019 and it appears not only is the weather staying scorching hot, so are the fashions that have been curated so well for consumers, editors and buyers alike.  Presented by David Jones and supported by Vogue Australia, Gala Runways 1 and 2 were held at the Royal Exhibition Building, showroom 1.

The street style slightly elevated from the previous day, due to the event being scheduled in the evening. There were plenty of metallic and sequined garnished fashionistas swanning the grounds prior to the runway kick-off.

Once inside we were entertained by a prodigious line up of local and international designers including: Aje, Armani Exchange, Balenciaga, Balmain, Bianca Spender, Camilla & Marc, Trelise Cooper, Dion lee, Double Rainbouu, Hugo Boss, KITX, PS by Paul, Rejina Pyo, Rixo London and Zimmerman.

For those with an appetite for design then this was certainly the feast of the fashion season. It didn’t matter which aesthetical direction you prefer, there was something on this runway for you.

David Jones and VAMFF certainly know how to curate an all-inclusive runway. Whilst on the topic of inclusivity, the models selected to walk the runways so far this week have been as wonderfully diverse as the garments they have been wearing.

There is a change in the air for VAMFF 2019 and we are only two days in. Melbourne My Style has you covered, if you are unable to make a show this week check in with us every twenty-four hours for our updates and images.
